These girls were foster sisters in Knoxville until Megan Dillin adopted Penny into a lovely NC home. Last summer, Darlene took an exciting vacation to visit Penny and was able to visit some amazing sites while staying with the Dillin family. These cultured gals visited the Biltmore House in their finest gowns, hiked all around several state parks, ate ice cream, lounged in hammocks and even visited the Carl Sandburg. The relationship between adoptive family and foster family is very rewarding and we will always love Penny! This is my favorite picture of Darlene and Penny's vacation.
