Your Pet's Story or Bio
CC is a senior Chihuahua, a very affectionate and sweet little fellow who didn't have such a great start in life - he was neglected and lived outside, without any medical care. Luckily, he went into a wonderful foster home through a local shelter, but because of his previous neglect, he had to have his eye removed due to a scratch that was never taken care of. He then came into Blind Dog Rescue Alliance and up to me in NY. CC loves to be carried around and held, and often sits in my lap when I'm working. If stop petting him, he bats me with his paw until I continue! He's a wonderful watchdog, and will bark at almost any sound he hears (even when I don't want him to, like when the phone rings!) He loves the warmer weather we're having, and will lay down in the grass and sunbathe. CC is frightened of thunderstorms, but that's OK! I'm not such a big fan of them myself, and we cuddle together until the storm is over. For such a tiny dog, he has a huge and loving heart! I love you, CC!
