I adopted Cedric in 2006 from the SPCA. More dog than cat, he became diabetic shortly before this photo was taken in May 2011. With a change to his diet and Lantus, he went into remission in 30 days. He had a couple of bouts with pancreatitis and went back in insulin in 2013. After a DKA episode, he passed away of acute necrotizing pancratitis. He is missed every day by me and his brother from another mother, Dallas. He was the best cat I ever had. <3
