Sadie came to us as a terrified mess and our very first DRM foster. But after getting the Diagnosis of having PTSD that DRM funded, we had a solid game plan for her recovery. After I decided that she must have valid reasons to fear men, and that I would care for her, and not push myself on this poor abused Dobie girl, she really turned the corner and began to trust and Love again. Today she can't wait to get let to the bedroom to give Daddy kisses. I really never thought after losing our beloved Dobie, Maya last year to Cancer, that I could ever connect to another one as well, but Sadie proved me wrong. She is Loved by our family, and she shows it! Thanks again out to all the good folks at DRM that help provide these type of "Love Connections" all of the time!
