After reading the nonfiction The Sound of the Wild Snail Eating, I became very curious about these critters. My sister, who is a biology instructor, gave me three to observe. Dave and Sam have a brother Pat who was hiding underneath the shell. They love a good spritz and are vegetarians. For fun, they climb to top and slide down whispering “Weeeee.”
