Barnaby RIP

Please give a brief story about your pet – was it a rescue, hard-luck story, special needs, etc
Abandoned by his momma, Barnaby, and his littermates were left to fend for themselves. GCS nicknamed them the Inspector Kittens (Barnaby Jones, Lacy, and Columbo). Lacy had a terrible brain-eating disorder and did not make it beyond her 4month birthday. I spent the better part of the first few years of his life worried he too would be inflicted by this disease. I loved my B so much. He grew up to be such a character (he loved to suckle on my t-shirt every night). I had to put him down in Nov of 2020, I am still devastated by that. He had a tumor in his intestine that could not be removed and was blocking his bowels. He was only 9. I miss him every day. Thank you, GCS for bringing his magnificent baby into my life, if only, for what I feel was too short of a time.
