Your Pet's Adoption Story
We adopted Duke, then named Dobey, on October 22, 2016. He is the sweetest, happiest, most playful dog. He is very protective of his family, but is certainly excited to meet any human or dog he comes into contact with. He is extremely smart and while he acts fearless, he can be startled by many things. A recent DNA test revealed Duke is 57.5% Mountain Cur, 32.4% American Bulldog, and 10.1% American Staffordshire Terrier. We also recently learned that the shelter Nashua rescued him from in Indiana was a kill shelter. We are so grateful he was rescued by you guys and is now an amazing part of our family.
