Your Pet's Adoption Story
I had been searching for a dog to adopt to be my running buddy for a few months. I was stopping by the Nashua Humane Society 2 or 3 days a week. I saw Miles, Tigger at the time and fell in love instantly. I planned to bring my wife back to adopt him later that day. We got there and he was being adopted by another couple. I was devastated. I continued searching for a dog weekly, but no other dogs were measuring up. A few weeks went by and I received a call one Saturday morning telling me the couple was returning him. My wife and I got in the vehicle and met them at NHS where we promptly adopted him and he has been my best bud ever since. Miles and his adopted sister Mila, once Georgia, are now inseparable and a huge part of our life.
