Your Pet's Story
When I visited HSFN for the first time, I noticed one cage housed awkwardly in between the back rooms with a shy-looking cat curled up tightly in his bed. Once I started to talking to him, he slowly came out and started to rub against the bars of the cage and meow loudly, as if saying, "Please take me home!" I am very glad I did. Once Ernie learns he can trust you, he is your friend for life. Being curious and friendly around new people, Ernie's very popular. He's happy to just sit or lie near you while you're home, and ask for attention by putting his paw up on your leg or hopping into your lap.
