A new home has given Buddy wings!

Buddy was a long-term resident of HSSV (6 months!). He arrived at the shelter at 6 months old with injuries to his rear leg and tail. We fostered him first in April, then asked to foster him again in July after an adoption that didn't work out for him. We pretty much knew he would be ours forever at that point but waited two weeks to let the staff know we were in it for good.

Buddy starts his day with a run with Larry and play time with other dog friends, and then goes on a mid-day hike with his beloved dog walker. He has a large extended family including neighbors, friends (hello AF!) and of course the wonderful staff at HSSV.

Buddy loves giving hugs, chasing the ball, playing with as many other dogs as possible, splashing in the water, and lounging on Sheri's office chair while she works. He wants everyone to know that he's a very good boy and is sometimes too smart for his own good but get in his good graces and he will never be stingy with the hugs.
