Pet's Story or Bio
Two years ago on my way to work, I saw a photo of a brown/ white Hound Lab Mix “Mitch” on the Humane Society website. I saw his floppy ears and sad gray-blue eyes and immediately called my boss to tell him I would NOT be coming in the office that day.

I’m no longer at that job (for unrelated reasons, of course ;) )

I decided to run this decision by my friends.

“Fox, you can’t even keep your house plants alive.” “Are you SURE you know how much time a puppy requires?” “He will literally eat everything you own.”

That morning, I met him in the playroom at the Humane Society and knew at that moment he was coming home with me. His brother Mike was much less rambunctious and not barking at all, but I only had eyes for Mitch. (if anyone on here happens to know where Mike is — play date ASAP!)

Two years, countless walks on Bayshore, one epic birthday party, many trips to the dog beach, one sad trip to Blue Pearl, and a million incredible memories later — I found TRUE LOVE in this 91 lb. bundle of joy.

And yes, he did eat everything I own (and then some).

For those of you who have met Ollie, you know how much he deserves to be a Calendar Cover-boy. And the Humane Society deserves ALL of your money for bringing us together.
