Your Pet's Rescue Story
My heart was found in a field .......
The caretakers who found it made sure I could find it. There was a photo they posted online. It took awhile..... really looking at all the hearts with no home. Until I recognized it; it felt right, and precious. I pursued my heart. I introduced myself & told him I was there to bring him home. What a wild ride it has been to feel more whole. To give and receive patience, when sitting isn’t fun enough. To figure out we don’t like bananas, but we love chicken. To learn we like to bury our heads under the covers. To dive into the waves of the ocean. To smell absolutely all smells. To know that every reunion we have following a short or long separation deserves a fireworks show of adoration. That in order to show you my love I have to bring you my favorite toy or a sock. To be so inclusive that every dog, both big and small, are our friends. Everyday I get to hold my heart right up against my chest and know this is right where it belongs. The Caliber of love I have for my heart, in the years we’ve been together, grows everyday that we learn a little more about each other, and the few nuances we have both as a person and pup.
