Your Pet's Rescue Story
Rory of House Gilmore, First of Her Name, Island Born, Chewer of Bones, Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, Fetcher of Balls, the Queen of Cuddling came into our life nearly a year and a half ago. My husband and I visited Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando back in March 2019 after I dropped numerous hints that I wanted to adopt a dog. We were not planning to adopt that day and certainly not a 5 month old puppy. But when we saw this sweet girl patiently sitting and watching people walk by, we knew we had to meet her. Come to find out, Rory had just become available to adopt that day! A family had reserved to adopt her but never came by to claim her. After only about 5 minutes of spending time with her, my husband looked at me and said, "She's the one." And that she was.
