Chemosabe’s name originated from the Lone Ranger term Kemosabe meaning ‘best friend.’ I had recently been diagnosed with Leukemia when I adopted him, which is the reason behind the play on words. Chemo would visit at the hospital and go on adventures with me when I was able to leave. Chem Dog enjoys boat days, swimming, and chasing squirrels. He also really enjoys hamburgers.
