A little about me...
My mom and dad foster animals through the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter. They received a message from fellow volunteers asking if they could foster me - a 12 week old stray kitten, who came into the shelter with an upper respiratory infection. Of course, they said yes. At that point they only had dogs. Though they had fostered cats before, they didn't have plans to adopt one. However, they say there was something special about me. As soon as my foster mom held me, she blurted out "I love him" - and in that moment we both knew I'd be there forever. My foster dad, a Mark Twain fan, agreed to let me stay on the condition he could choose my name. They started calling me Huckleberry Finn - Finn for short - and once I recovered from my upper respiratory infection, I was all theirs!
