Hammy is half American Foxhound, a quarter Bluetick Coonhound, a quarter Treeing Walker Coonhound, and 110% AngelBaby. He enjoys walks (more sniffing and peeing on trees than walking), his favorite food is pizza, and like any hound, he plays hard and naps harder.

Hammy was a foster failure with Last Hope Rescue. I mean, look at that face, how could you give him up? He was found in the Carolinas with a number spray painted on his side - abandoned or lost hunting dog. He made his way to Tallahassee through the network of shelters and wriggled his way into our hearts in 2013. He loves advocating for rescues on his Instagram and generally promotes adoption from shelters with his awesomeness. If named Tally Top Pet, Hammy would be honored to represent hound dogs!
