Foothills Kiwanis of Boulder Valley
Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization for men and women desiring personal involvement in the leadership and improvement of their communities. As a group, we achieve what individuals cannot do alone. Our motto and the cornerstone of Kiwanis is
Serving the Children of the World. Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where it's located. Members stage nearly 150,000 service projects and raise nearly $100 million every year for communities, families, and projects.
At Foothills Kiwanis, we strive to serve the children of the world. We do so through several community service activities, including providing trained dogs to protect children who have Type 1 Diabetes and severe allergies and other medical conditions through our club's Alert Service Dog Program; volunteering with The Salvation Army; sponsoring Middle School Builder's Club, High School Key Clubs and University Circle K Clubs; providing annual Foothills Kiwanis Tuition Scholarships; and much more.
The Foothills Kiwanis Club of Boulder Valley meets every Monday from 7:00-8:00 am at The Brewing Market Coffee in Lafayette, CO.
Alert Service Dogs for Kids
There are numerous "silent disabilities" such as diabetes and extreme allergies in children. Their normal lives are severely constrained by their need for continuous monitoring and protection. Alert Service Dogs for Kids helps to dramatically improve a child's life by giving them a well-trained service dog. We provide these dogs free of charge to the families and train them to
sound an alert when their child's blood sugar level is low or there are allergens present that the child is sensitive to. Families participate in two training sessions a month to develop their alert dog's obedience and condition recognition skills. For more information, see our website at

Mash Lab Brewing and Kitchen
Founded in 2016 by classic car enthusiasts Eric and Cristin Peratt, Mash Lab has grown into a welcoming neighborhood hangout. Mash Lab started in an "extra' room in the Peratt's nationally recognized hot-rod shop,
Pinkee's, with a 1 barrel brew system. Before long it advanced to a 3 barrel system and now boasts a 10 barrel brewhouse.
Eric and Cristin purchased the land next to The Garage to build the Mash Lab Brewing and Kitchen facility. In 2020, Jason and Heather Bockholdt partnered with the Peratt's.
"We love our community and plan to continue to support it with charitable events, donations to kid's sports teams, and a relaxing place to meet with friends and family. Sit back, grab a drink, listen to music, meet new friends and old, and get to know us. We are excited to know you! Cheers"! For more information, go to

Connecting Home and Community.
Why have I made real estate my career? Because through real estate there is a direct connection between our homes and our community. It is energizing to work with people who are moving from one stage of life to the next--to contribute genuine value to the viability of the community we live in and to the lives of my clients. I do this by sponsoring community events, by publishing a community lifestyles newsletter called The Connections Chronicle, and by working with Kiwanis to support kids in need.

Boulder Daily Camera
In September 1890, the Camera began as a weekly newspaper. The name Camera was adopted because founders Frederick P. Johnson and Bert Ball had the idea of a publication with more illustrations than most newspapers of that time. The Camera name remains unique among newspaper banners in the United States, if not the world.
During the course of our long history, we have been owned by entrepreneurs, families and corporations. But the truth of the matter is, our heart and soul have always belonged to you. We were, are and will always be your source for local news and advertising information.
Over the years we have woven Boulder and Broomfield counties issues, events, politics and human stories into the fabric of our pages. Our mission is the same today as it's always been: To deliver essential, informed and relevant news to our readers.
