Entering the Contest

This contest is open to anyone. Your photo does not have to be of a cat rescued by and adopted through CRAN. Photos of any kitties from any background are welcome.
The minimum donation for entering a submission is $10 per photo. You may enter as many photos as you want.
All entries are required to list the name of the cat(s) pictured in the photo and a short bio.
Digital photos are required. Photos must be clear, of good quality and high resolution and submitted via the contest website submission form. We recommend that you upload photos from your phone or camera at ORIGINAL SIZE for high resolution.
All photos must be submitted online.
Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery and will be open to voting by the public.
People are not allowed in your photo, though the image may contain another companion pet in addition to the featured cat. Your photo may contain more than one cat.
The same cat can be entered into the contest multiple times, but votes will not be combined across multiple entries of the same cat. Each photo earns votes separately.
Cats must be depicted in a safe environment setting in all entries.
Photos must either feature pets owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the pet's owner to submit their pet's image.
We cannot accept copyrighted professional photos or any photos that have been digitally manipulated or altered other than basic cropping and color adjustment.
Once entered, photos become the property of Cat Rescue and Adoption Network and may be used for online, print, and marketing purposes.
We reserve the right to decline publication of any photography for any reason.

Entries may be submitted from June 1, 2021 at 12:00 AM Pacific until September 15, 2021 AT 11:59:59 PM Pacific.
Donations are non-refundable and fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. Cat Rescue and Adoption Network is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All entrants will receive email receipts for their contributions.
By participating in this contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Cat Rescue and Adoption Network and each of their officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize.
The contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

Online Voting

Voting by the general public is available for a $1 donation per vote.
We encourage you to email the contest link to family and friends and encourage them to vote for your entry.
Persons may submit as many votes for as many photos as they wish.
All votes will be periodically tabulated and displayed on the contest website. There may be a temporary delay in displaying the most recent tabulations.
Voting begins on June 1, 2021 at 12:00 AM Pacific until September 15, 2021 AT 11:59:59 PM Pacific.*
All gifts received before 11:59:59 PM Pacific on September 15, 2021 will be honored. The leaderboard results are official.

*The ending time for online voting will be solely determined by the host website's server. Keep in mind that your clock may differ from the clock that determines the ending time, depending on your time zone.
