About a year after losing our first family dog, we were ready to open our hearts and home to another. When Scarlett O’Hara’s perma pout came across the screen, I knew we had to meet her. She came to Crops and Flops as a stray from Brockton with some major skin issues (and come to find out allergies to what seems like everything). Now Charlotte, or Charli, as she goes by, became part of the family immediately. Even our older dog Chance, who has very discerning tastes when making friends, couldn’t resist Charli’s charm. She is the playmate and cuddle buddy he’s been longing for. Whether it’s the constant flops for belly rubs anytime and anywhere (even if we just had them a minute ago), the many crazy sleeping positions (generally with her tongue out), or the need to invade your personal space for kisses and cuddles, she always brings us joy.
