Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Selkie from Lawrence Humane Society almost two years ago. She entered the shelter as a terrified stray, and she still thinks strangers are scary -- especially if they are riding bicycles or pushing strollers. But she has become inseparable best friends with our other LHS alum, Bowie, and loves playing surrogate mama to the kittens we foster. We have loved seeing her transform from a shut-down stray to a happy, goofy girl living her best life.
