Hello, my name is Mack and I have a heart as big as a truck. I am a super sweet boy who loves everyone and everything. I was at WCHS a while back and was adopted by a very nice family and I loved it when my people were with me. I do not like being alone very much and get so anxious that I tear up anything I can get my paws on. When I was alone and they put me in a wire crate I was able to escape and get into trouble again. My family had so many plates in the air they were trying to manage, they felt they did not have time to work through my separation anxiety. Therefore, we made the decision to surrender me to WCHS to find a new family. I am in the process of learning to be more comfortable in a crate while I search for my new family and I hope to continue those exercises in my new home. I could share my home with a dog buddy because I love to play and have tons of energy. In fact, it may be helpful for me to have a canine friend in my home who I can hang out with when my peeps are not around. I could also share my home with a feline friend because I try and be respectful of all creatures. In my previous home I used to take walks with a neighbor's Bengal cat who would actually walk on a leash; I thought it was pretty awesome that a kitty wanted to walk like a pup. My family could include gentle and respectful children of any age - did I mention I LOVE people? I am a 63-pound love bug who delights in scratches, pats, cuddles and snuggles; but honestly, who doesn't appreciate a fanny scratch? I am a smart lad who already knows the cues for ‘sit', ‘lay', ‘paw' and ‘side/heel'; I aim to please my people so I hope I can continue to learn things from you. In my previous home I would go to the door to ask to go outside; I am getting close to being perfectly house-trained but still need to practice a bit. I would suggest a regular schedule and lots of praise when I do my business outside until I am familiar with my new home. One other activity I would like to work on with you is being more comfortable during car rides. It might help if we did lots of short trips to fun places where we can spend time together so I learn that riding in cars reaps grand rewards. I think we could have a splendid life together filled with many adventures. I do like to stay busy so I am a firm believer in plenty of physical and mental exercise each day. I have been described as friendly, playful, affectionate, quiet and calm; I simply know I can bring joy to your home. Stop by to meet me in person, let me dazzle you and melt your
