Your Dog's Story or Bio
Scooter came to me when his owner was quite ill and suffering from sepsis. The family had put him in a kennel where he stopped eating and lost over half his weight. I was asked by a friend of the family if I could care for him while his owner was in the hospital. Unfortunately, Scooter's owner, with whom he was lovingly attached for 11 years, passed away unexpectedly from his infection. I was asked by a family member to find him a home; though I thought putting Scooter through any more moves was not good for him and decided to give him a permanent home with me and my other two dogs. He had already fit right in and was enjoying walks and playing with them in our large backyard. So he found his forever home with us.
