Sophie was adopted from a puppy mill. Her owner could not care for her and offered her to us. He would be gone for several days at a time leaving Sophie alone.I realized quickly that she has urinary issues. Our vet said she would not have lasted much longer. She was treated for UTI and had surgery to remove 15 bladders stones. She has since recovered and is a happy, healthy girl! I have had doxies all my life but never had one with a personality like Sophie. She is the happiest and most gentle soul ever!
