We rescued Lola over 3 years ago from S.A.F.E. She was one of alteast 40 other dachshunds...that were rescued from a puppy mill in SC. She was in bad shape, under weight,heartworm positive and the list goes on. It has not always been easy with her since she was our first rescue and we really had no idea what we got ourselves into. It took a lot of patience and thank goodness for Google. I can say now she is as normal as she will ever be. Shes happy, definitely spoiled and I can say my life is complete with her. Now I know my heart will always be with rescued "babies". They are the best!
