Daphne had a rough start. She came from a puppy mill in the Midwest and was less than 8 weeks old when placed for adoption. When she finally came home, she had pneumonia, giardia, and difficulty breathing. It took a week-long hospital stay before she was healthy enough to start living life as a normal puppy. She has been with me since college, and helped find my now fiancé, Ryan. She was there for me through the recent passing of my mother (a big advocate for animal rescue) and is a sensitive, good dog.

Ryan and I will be married this summer, and Daphne will be our “Mutt of Honor." She is loyal, loving and her favorite things are “cookies,” cuddles and car rides. She has been on a few cross country road trips with us and enjoys seeing the world - she's one sophisticated weenie!
