Ralphie came to us through the Dachshund Rescue of South Florida. His owner had terminal cancer and she wanted to ensure that Ralphie (his first name was Rudy) would go to a loving home. She surrendered him to Dachshund Rescue before she passed. We adopted him in 2016 and with him was this lovely letter from her. It was filled with cute things about him...what he liked to eat, his playfulness, his stubbornness, etc, etc. The letter was written with so much love. Ralphie was cherished by her and now he is cherished by us.
