Ruby is 11 years old mini dachshund, She came home from less then reputable breeder when she was 9 months old. She has been a joy of our life ever since. Loyal, fearless, independent, always on guard like a wireless doorbell. Ruby shares her home in Ontario, Canada with Chihuahua Terrier rescue. Ruby overcame many health challenges in her life, the scariest being heart ablation surgery, for ventricular tachycardia 2. 5 years ago at Cornell. When she was sick with VT her heart beat was up to 350 bpm. Thanks to brilliant team at Cornell , her heart problems are in the past. She is doing fantastic and being in Dachshund Rescue calendar is on her bucket list.
