Your Dog's Story or Bio
Willy is a proud alumni of Dachshund Rescue! We adopted him in 2017, a few months after losing our beloved dachshund Firu who was with us for 16 years. He filled our hearts with love and happiness instantly. We moved as a family to Costa Rica where Willy met his sister Canela after being adopted from a local shelter. They created a bond so quickly and complemented each other perfectly. Canela is a sweetie pie who takes care of him like a little brother since they’ve first met. From that point on we’ve moved to New York and back to our forever home in Florida, where they continue to be inseparable after so many changes! They’re our best company and complete our family. We love them.
