This photo was taken shortly after Lilly met her new (older) brother Sully. Both Lilly and Sully are senior DRSF adoptees, and they bonded immediately, quickly becoming an old married couple. In this picture, the two of them are trying to stay warm on that frigid 60-degree day and hoping a treat from the counter will fall onto the kitchen floor (which of course it always did). Sweet Lilly crossed the Rainbow Bridge in May, but the cheer, kindness, and unconditional love she brought to Sully and the rest of us will live on forever in every delicious bite of food we eat.
