Lucy adopted at 15. The shelter I volunteer at sent me a message about Lucy because they know I take in hospice and special needs dogs. “Hey I know it’s not good timing but anyway you can help with a 15 yr old blind, deaf dog with Cushings disease? If you can’t take her we will have to humanly euthanize she is unadoptable “ I didn’t ask what breed , sex , i didn’t ask how long does she have to live , I didn’t ask how much would it cost me , the only thing I asked was when do you need me to come get her! The answer was now. I went and picked her up and fell deeply in love! Lucy was bossy , loud , stubborn and I loved her every second and miss her immensely !!!!! Best decision ever !!!!
