Simba joined our family on August 20, 2023, after being adopted from DRSF—and he’s been living his best life ever since, surrounded by his beloved dachshund siblings. In May of this year, he was diagnosed with metastatic thyroid carcinoma. But true to his name, Simba is a little warrior. He’s been bravely taking on both holistic and conventional treatments, and we’re thrilled to share that his tumor has shrunk significantly. Best of all—he’s completely asymptomatic!
Despite everything, Simba hasn’t lost an ounce of his spark. His playful, adventurous spirit and endlessly sweet personality remain untouched. He continues to steal hearts and spread sunshine everywhere he goes. Favorite hobby: hunting lizards in the backyard.
