Maisie, this little darling flew from Miami under the airplane seat with me and was a Gem flyer. It was love at first sight. She kissed me all over endlessly as soon as she was handed over to me. I could not keep my eyes off her the entire short flight home. Maisie is very affectionate, a calm loving dachshund, who of course loves to eat. She enjoys being with her sister, Molly, a beagle/dachshund IVDD gal I rescued 6 years ago. Maisie has true Dachshund hunting instincts. She is fast and fearless when it comes to seeing an occasional small lizard or other bugs on the screened porch. She sits on top of the sofa against the window and stares out at squirrels and birds, hoping she can get to them. She loves to take walks on the beach. I love this cuddle girl, she’s very loving.
