Meet Nahla

From “too barky” to calendar-worthy queen, this little lady has come a long way. I rescued her at age 5 when her former owner gave up, and she’s been my shadow ever since—yes, even into the bathroom. At 13, she’s still bursting with energy, proving that age is just a number (and naps are just intermissions).

Her hobbies include:
• Patrolling the neighborhood from her perch on the couch like a cat in disguise.
• Beach trips for her favorite pup cups—she swears ice cream tastes better with an ocean view.
• Being the ultimate home security system—forget Ring cameras, she’s got it covered.
• Selective socializing—other animals? She simply ignores them with regal grace.

Underneath her sassy independence, she’s a gentle soul who’s happiest glued to my side. She may have started out a “loner,” but she’s my forever partner in crime.
