Toby & Bailey are the brothers I never had. Just like siblings, they aggravated me when I was trying to work on something and they comforted me when I was sad or sick. I loved coming from college on weekends/holidays and having them run to to door to greet me. Bailey always sensed when I was home & asleep upstairs. He would faithfully sit at the bottom of the stairs, with a toy dangling from his mouth, waiting for me to come down. I missed them so much when I returned to my dorm. It was so lonely there without the feel of their wet noses nudging me awake in the morning or the feel of their warm fur against me when I was sick. Words cannot describe how a pet can make you feel.
