Your Dog's Story or Bio
Luna, formerly Hera, was taken to Miami Dade Animal shelter in May of 2014 by her owners for euthanasia because of her seizure disorder. DRSF snatched her up and eventually chose her for me.
June 28, 2014, we drove 10 hours from Mississippi to adopt her and our bond was intantaneous. It was as if she knew me and had been waiting just for me
In November 2014, after a paralyzing scare, Luna was diagnosed at MS State Veterinary College with AA subluxation in her neck and Chiari-like malformation. Both conditions were mild and did not require surgery. This is the cause of what has been diagnosed as seizures her whole life. We call them "episodes" and they are very infrequent now.
I believe that God chose this little girl just for me and she is the love of my life!!!
