Your Dog's Story or Bio
When we rescued her from Miami-Dade animal services her name was Tarr. She had been surrendered, along with her sister who was epileptic. Although visibly neglected, she was healthy and playful, running around in a yellow polka dot bikini top (no bottom, she didn't like it). I sat in the grass under the MDAS tent and she crawled into my lap, up my chest, and rested on my shoulder like a baby. I fell in love. She was too beautiful and too sweet to leave behind after we had this instant bond. I couldn't keep the ugly name that was tied to her troubled past. We named her Minnie and took her to her new home where she'd have 2 new doxie sisters and a German Shepherd brother. She shows appreciation for her rescue every day and has been one of the greatest joys of my life. #rescueseniordogs
