My first doxie, Kiwi, suffered from severe separation anxiety as a puppy, so we decided to get her a friend. At the time, I thought I could only get a doxie from a puppy store. They had this tiny brown one that was so desperate for love, she couldn't stop giving me kisses and nudging me to pet her. When I put her down on the floor she had the cutest sideways hop-run, I had to take her home. She instantly became attached to Kiwi, loving that she had a new sister. 8 years later they are still inseparable. For the fist 10 months that we had her, Peanut struggled with acute kennel cough. The only way she could sleep was on my chest, for all 10 months! She always wants to play fetch. ALWAYS! She loves cuddling with her daddy and has filled our home with joy and laughter.
