Your Dog's Story or Bio
Buster Brown is my foster with GetALong Dachshund Rescue, a foster based rescue whose mission is to help senior and medical needs dachshunds. Buster came to us from North East Florida after his owner was admitted to a long term care facility. Buster had obviously missed a few meals as you could count every rib when he was first rescued. He is gradually gaining weight, and has the energy and look of a much younger dog. He loves to play ball and is currently learning to play soccer. Like most doxies, he loves to sing the song of his people and can bark like the big hounds. Buster can also "talk" when he's really excited to see you. He would love a family with a big yard and maybe even a boy or girl of his very own.
