She is a rescue, she was abandoned by her previous owners. They moved away and left her alone in the backyard for what the Dachshund rescue thinks was two weeks. She had hyperthermia, skin infection, extreme malnutrition and a respiratory infection. We nursed her back to health and she has become a very valued member of our family. She'll be 7 this October!
