My babies Waldo (nicknamed Wally!) and Milo are both dachshund mix rescues. We adopted Milo, a dachshund/chihuahua mix, when he was four months old from a shelter in downtown LA. He is our sassy little guy who always has something to say to people and to his brother! After we had Milo for a year, we decided to adopt Waldo, a dachshund/pug mix, as a buddy for him. Wally was adopted from a rescue organization who (with good intentions because they were saving his life) lied to us about his health. He was beaten so badly he had a collapsed lung and a diaphragmatic hernia. $3500 of surgery and lots of recovery later, Wally is completely healthy and is a ball catching maniac! We love our inseperable fellas (aka dumb and dumber) and are so grateful for the joy they bring us.
