Pet's Story
Sunny came into our family because my daughter had been wanting a pet for years after our first family pet had run away to die. My daughter had created a business to pet sit, collect mail, and water flowers for people who went out of town and needed help. After one year she had earned over $600 and started shopping for rescues. She found Sunny through a rescue site and went to meet her. However, her name was Goldie at the time. My daughter wanted to give her a name and she thought Sunny Georgia was a good change from Goldie because they both represent something shining bright. Sunny is now 5 years old.

Why my pet should win
For a chihuahua, she is pretty calm. She does have a protective side, which causes her to bark when we are out on walks, but for the most part she is a really sweet dog and loves being around us.
