Pet's Story
Cookie and Pippa are best friends most of the time. This photo was taken while they were supervising our landscaping crew. Cookie is an 8-month-old female white Boxer, with one black spot on the top of her head. Pippa is a 1-year-old female Pomeranian.
We had lost Jim's 14-year-old boxer and my 14-year-old Yorkie in the past 2 years. In August of 2020, we found Pippa's littermate brother on the boardwalk in Myrtle Beach with the owners. After receiving several text messages and pictures, of Pippa from the owners we immediately fell in love with her and, quickly traveled back to South Carolina to pick her up.
In October, while on vacation in Fl, our son brought home an 8-week old Cookie. When we arrived home and saw the puppy, before our son arrived home, we were both very upset that he had gotten another dog. Little did we know that the puppy was for his Jim and not him. Jim soon warmed up to Cookie and now they are best buds.
Having 2 puppies under the age of 6 months has been a challenge, but we are finally getting a good routine in place.
Both have been fun and make our lives very lively.

Why my pet should win
Since this is a fundraising event, winning is not our goal. But to raise money by getting a large number of votes for the pictures of our beloved pets is.
