Pet's Story
Rescued from being crushed underfoot by a size 8 flip-flop, "Met" (or maybe one of his look-alike family members) happily spent his life in the Florida Keys. He especially enjoyed the surprised screams of visitors who spied him upon turning on the bathroom light at 3:00 a.m. Not wanting to adapt to new ownership when his rescuer moved to Dahlonega, he tagged along in a cardboard box, promising not to be a "pest".
