Pet's Story
Beck is the BEST DOG EVER. My best friend and companion for years, who loved me "to the moon and back!" I enter Beck for posthumous recognition, not necessarily as the "cutest", but in tribute to all the "Becks" that have made our lives better, have brighten our day when times were dark, have forgiven us unconditionally when we fail them, and have given us so much love and joy by their tail wags, warm and comforting cuddles, and enthusiastic greetings.
Too many stories and memories to enter here. But the best one is that when Pam and I were dating she kidnapped Beck and took him to her house and held him hostage until I agreed to marry her. Later, after his release, Beck confessed that it was his idea all along and he paid Pam off to get her to fake the kidnapping. Pam's payoff included Beck agreeing to sit on the sofa in her lap and watch Game of Thrones and other TV series every night for the remainder of his life. A task he took quite seriously and willingly.
Beck honestly believed that everybody loved him and absolutely could not wait to pet and play with him. During the many years he and I roomed together (on the boat or other unnamed locations), I learn to speak Beckese, a relatively sophisticated language consisting of just a few sounds with very discrete changes in pitch. Beck sometimes would say "nnnnnen" translated - love you!

Why my pet should win
Beck does not need to win (he already won my heart and the hearts of all who knew him), but he does need for everyone that loved him or has a story about him to contribute to this fundraiser.
