Pet's Story
Josie is the youngest member of the Sanford Homestead. He was born on March 24, 2021 on a warm spring afternoon. His donkey family includes his parents, Jack and Dianne, and his older sister Rosie. Even though he is only two months old, he commands the farm like no other. Josie craves attention and will do anything for some treats! You can catch Josie playing with his sister, watching his neighbor cows graze, or performing a rodeo for whoever will watch. Josie also enjoys playing with the homestead dog, Ryker, who is his same size. His favorite trick is blocking his family from getting petted so he can enjoy your full attention. Josie has a personality as big as the moon, and is even great with children. When Josie grows up he wishes to be as strong as his dad. Sometimes you may even see Josie competing with his dad by showing each other their teeth.

Why my pet should win
Josie is an all around great pet. He serves many roles on the homestead from pasture keeper to guard donkey. He is protective over his territory and will notify you when there are intruders. Josie is reliant on his fellow donkey family to keep him company as donkey’s like to remain with their companions. Josie would like to win the Rotary cutest pet competition so that he can navigate out of the pasture and strut around Dahlonega. As mentioned before, Josie loves attention, so help us out by voting him for cutest pet!
