About Us

Voted the Best Service Club in Dahlonega for two years in a row, the Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Club is part of Rotary International.

The men and women of Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Club work on service projects ranging from volunteering at the Community Helping Place food bank to working the ‘chain gang' at the high school football game.

The Club also sponsors a number of fundraising projects for the Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Club Foundation, a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization. In recent years, the Foundation provided funding for the county's splash pad, a study new Lumpkin County Library and a new kitchen at the Community Helping Place.

The Club's Foundation also sponsors student scholarships and awards, recognizes the County Employees of the Year, and donates funds to over 20 organizations including CASA, Lumpkin Literacy CHP, Lumpkin Literacy, Jeremiah's Place, and Lumpkin Library .
