A little about me...
We adopted Hendrix from Dakin in July of 2024 and he came to us with some health problems which were proving a bit difficult to totally cure. At his age of nine, we were hoping he would fit right in with Odie, our 11 year old husky, and he did! To his credit and wonderful temperament, he and Odie both adapted very well to the subsequent addition of our latest rescue, Ivy, a year and a half old black lab. Hendrix has definitely found his forever home and I'm thankful every day that he's in our home and part of our family (along with 3 cats, two of which were adopted from Dakin). Thank you, Dr. Allie and the entire staff Dakin, for hanging in there with Hendrix' treatment and for allowing us to adopt this big, handsome chocolate lab!
