Pet's Story or Bio
Hi, I am Gracie. I am being fostered with my sister, Trixie. We were taken in as "empty the shelter" fosters from the Marathon Campus of the Florida Keys SPCA when Hurricane Dorian loomed as a possible threat to the Keys. Spared from the storm, our foster people asked to continue fostering us because in the shelter we were so terrified, all we did was hide in their Catio rafters. Since spending almost 3 months in our foster home, we have begun to become socialized. I am completely bonded to my sister, Trixie, we cannot be separated for adoption. We are spayed and vaccinated. I'm still quite timid, although on rare occasions I'll let my foster people stroke my soft fur. My sister is much braver than I, she even lets our fosters pick her up from time to time. We have further to go to become fully socialized, but we will get there in a loving furever home. We are smart, fastidious, playful, and curious. We both like to sleep with our foster people. We love sunny patches, treats, toys, looking outside, & each other. If we happen to get adopted as part of this contest, our fosters will donate their prize to the adopting family. Our adoption must go through the local Keys shelter. Please, love us, help us.
