Pet's Story or Bio
I fell in love with Talia as soon as I heard her purr and noticed she didn't have a tail. The way her fur sat on her tail stub made it look like a trident, so I dubbed her: "the three-pronged, nubby-tailed wonder." I adopted Talia from PBC Animal Care & Control in 2016. She is the most amazing comfort creature and furry friend. Talia loves to chase after her bumble-bee toy. When someone knocks on the door, she runs to the door growling with her nubby tail all fluffed and bushy. She has an obsession with paper clips, and can be found rummaging through my papers to find them. When I'm at the computer, Talia often comes to prop her body over my shoulder and settle in for a kitty hug...the best reminder for me to take a "paws" in my day. Every time I leave the house, she takes her squeaky mousey toy out of its box and leaves it somewhere for me to find. At night she sleeps on my pillow, draped around my head while purring in my ear and giving me a neck massage. Talia has become a mascot at work, popping in to say hi to everyone during virtual meetings or trainings. She always makes me smile and laugh, warms my heart, and makes my life more enjoyable.
