Pet's Story or Bio
Becky was found by a rescue group in Mississippi when she was just a few weeks old. No one knows what happened, but she had a bad injury to her front leg which had to be amputated. The rescue group also worked with Canine Commitment in NH which regularly transported Southern Dogs to New England for adoption. Becky didn't have any luck finding a home in the South so she hitched along with some dogs and found her way to New Hampshire where they posted her photo on facebook to find her a home up here. I had lost one of my cats unexpectedly a few months before and was looking for a kitten to bring some new energy to my home. In February of 2019, I drove down to NH to get Becky and bring her home to Northern Vermont. She fit in well with my other critters and is not slowed down at all by having just three legs. She hops around, climbs to the top of the cat tree, bounds up and down stairs and keeps everyone on their toes with her playful nature. She is two years old now, lives with 3 other rescue cats and a dog, and is still very kitten-like in size an nature.
